2. Create and read

   Pick a language and one of the story lengths offered in the app, then create your tale. Read it through before sharing it with your child.

3. Give it a voice

   Choose a narrator to bring your story to life. Narration is created separately when you’re ready to listen.

Who is Baku for?

Baku is for adult parents and caregivers choosing bedtime stories for children. Age preferences help you find relevant stories, and a child’s age helps shape personal stories. Children enjoy the stories with adult supervision.

Can I explore without registering?

Guest mode lets you browse the shared collection and listen to its available narration without registering. Register an account to manage child profiles and create personal stories.

What is free, and when would I need a paid plan?

A registered Free account lets you try creating short personal stories and narration with limited lifetime allowances. Creating or revising a story uses your content allowance; generating narration uses a separate audio allowance. Paid plans provide larger allowances. Check the app for current allowances, prices and billing periods before purchasing.

Can I download narration?

Yes. Sign in and download a story’s available audio to your device. Starting playback currently requires an internet connection, even for downloaded audio. Download limits depend on your plan; creating new stories and narration also requires an internet connection.

How do I choose a language?

Choose from the available story languages when browsing, setting up a child’s profile or creating a personal story. You can choose a story language independently of the app’s interface language. Available narration voices depend on the story’s language.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Cancel through the store where you purchased it: Google Play or Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Baku account does not cancel subscription billing.

How do I delete my account?

In Baku, open Settings → Account information → Delete account. You can also request deletion by email without reinstalling the app. Deletion is permanent once accepted. Read the account deletion instructions for verification, processing and retained information.
